Kwaheri means "Good bye" in Swahili, which is what is most commonly
spoken in Uganda. Andrew and I are officially on our way to meet our
little girl clear across the world! We have quite a long trek to get to
Jinja; it will take a total of two days.
Our first
flight to SanFransisco was canceled and so we were re-directed to
Seattle. Once we arrived in Seattle, we went straight to the departure
gate for our next flight which was headed to Dubai. God tested our faith
then and there when we were told weren't in the system and may not make
it on the flight. This happened all because of the cancellation of our
previous flight and how the woman went about "fixing" things and
re-directing us, etc. Despite the scare, they were able to get us on the
 correct flight, praise God!
The flight to Dubai was
long and tiring as we didn't sleep much at all. We've landed in Dubai
and will be making our way to our hotel to finally meet up with Janna.
It will be so good to finally meet her!
I imagine after
such a long flight, we will be grabbing some dinner in the hotel
restaurant and will be heading straight to bed to get in as much rest as
possible before heading out again first thing in the morning to catch
our next flight to Entebbe.
I will update again as soon as I am able!
